TENOR BANJOS

CONDITION: Ex=excellent or 90-98%, near mint; VG+=very good plus or about 80-85%, light exterior wear with a few minor dings but no paint chips exposing the wood, nothing really serious, nice overall shape;
VG= Average to Very Good , 70-75% more serious exterior wear that could include some major gouges exposing the wood, arm wear, fret wear; GC, good to Sub Average= 60-50%,Noticeable wear on most areas, normally consisting of some major belt buckle wear & finish deterioration , may include cracking, possible repairs or alterations, when this condition is encountered, normally an instrument should have all logos intact, original pickups, minor headstock damage, and perhaps a few non-serious alterations, with or w/o original case.

"The GT-500, 6 string for guitar players, is traditionally styled with maple rim, maple resonator, maple neck and a rosewood radiused fingerboard. Our original model features an alloy tone ring, heavy duty stainless steel tailpiece, bone nut, chrome-plated hardware, two way adjustable truss rod, and sealed geared tuning machines.  This model has excellent acoustic volume and good sustain. Options include: GT-500-Deluxe option includes a sliding mag pick-up which may be slid along the inside rod to different positions for a variety of tones/$99. This unique Gold Tone pick-up accentuates the bass notes and provides piercing banjo style treble; heavily padded gig bag/$59, hard case/$129, volume control/$60, 6 on a side headstock and lefty model/$85."

tHIS IS ONE I PUT BACK IN CIRCULATION! IT HAS A NEW HEAD, THE ORIGINAL TUNERS WERE PROBABLY PLANETARY, BUT WERE REPLACED AT SOME POINT WITH FRICTION PEGS. IT PLAYS FINE AND IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION, WITH A NICE STRAIGHT NECK WITH VERY LITTLE FRET WEAR! THE NECK ALSO HAS NICE CARVING ON THE HEEL AND REVERSE OF PEGHEAD!

one piece flange,  mastertone  flat top tone ring.  mahogany resonator.   very good condition  with nice hard case! it even has a richelieu pick holder attached to the right of the bridge (see pic)! very little fret wear and in really nice shape for its' age!  has a replacement set of grover planets.

THIS BANJO IS IN REALLY FINE SHAPE, MOST OF THE WEAR (WHICH IS LITTLE) IS IN SOME PITTING ON THE PLATING OF THE BRACKETS, AND ON THE RESONATOR (SEE PIC). SOME FRET WEAR ON THE FIRST 6 FRETS. 
it really is silver, it was pretty black when i got it but the silver polish worked good! the tuners are grover planetery type, and the tuning pegs are real MOP!
